| | Department of the refractory compounds and composite materials | |
The department disposes contemporary material, research and experimental bases, as well as highly skilled specialists for implementation of researches and experimental works on technology of refractory powders compounds and production of wares on this technology.
In the department have been developed following technologies and settled getting of following substances: Powders of the refractory compounds: borides, carbides, nitrides, silicides (Detailed description is given below). Powders of the refractory compounds of reactive purity for extra-hard high temperature materials of various destination (cutting instruments, high temperature heaters, vaporizers, abrasives and etc.): borides of following substances: Ti, Cr, V, Zr, Nb, Mo, La, Hf, Ta; carbides of following substances: Ni, Cr, V, Zr, Hf, Ta, W; nitrides of following substances:: Al, Ti, Cr, V, Zr, Nb, Hf, Ta; silicides of following substances:: Ti, V, Mo, Hf, W. Composite magnetic abrasive powders on the basis of extra-hard and magnetic soft materials: TiC - Fe, diamond - superpermaloy, carbide of boron, nitride of boron - iron. - Especially pure nitride of aluminium for heat-conducting backings of the heavy-current integrated electronic circuits.
- Nitride of silicon with the high rate of contents active α -faze (85-92% on mass.) for extra-hard construction ceramics and cutting instruments.
- Classified powders of pseudo sintered carbide of titan with the extra-hard grains (10-500 mcm) for abrasive treatment of steels and alloys in composition of abrasive pastes, lapping compositions etc.
Extra-hard ceramic grinding shafts for hard materials grinding.
- Metal-ceramic filters of the thin refining of air, water, oil from the mechanical admixtures.
- Extra-hard, corrosion-resisting and wearproof coverages made of refractory compounds (TiC, TiN etc.) coverages on the high-loaded details of machineries and mechanisms working in the aggressive environments (driving wheel of centrifugal pumps for pumping of acids, suspensions over, working details of ball faucets and etc.), - decorative coverages (imitating gold) on the wares of the domestic setting.
- Following types of coverages are manufactured:
- Thin-layer (less than 3-5 mm) radio - absorbing coverages in wave diapason from 60 sm up to 1.5 mm with coefficient of electromagnetic waves reflection by capacity less than 3 %;
- Over - wide diapason radio absorbing ferrite - made flat coverages (thickness 6-10 mm )
- Pyramidal (height of pyramids 25-40 mm) coverages with diapason of waves' length from 30 m up to 1 mm. Eectromagnetic waves reflection coefficient on capacity is less than 3-5 %.
Permanent magnets for high-quality acoustic apparatus with following indicators: remaining (residuary) Br induction not less than 0.4 Tl, coercive power by Ns induction not less than 170 kA/m, maximal magnetic energy Bn (Н)max not less than 30 kilojoules /m 3.
- High-frequency high-density manganese - zinc ferrites (ZFs) with following values.
For video technique ZF values are: working diapason of frequencies is 0,1-5,0 MHz, initial permeance > 4000, Curie temperature of >130 ° C, magnetic induction >0,48 Tl, density 99,5 %. For television technique ZF values are: working diapason of frequencies is 0,2-1,0 MHz, initial permeance > 800, relative tangent of loss angle < (20-60)10-6, Curie temperature >200°С, magnetic induction >0,40 Tl. 12. Coloured magnetic powders for following objectives: dactylography and fault detection; special ferrite powders, low-sized ferrite mandrels, large dimension ferrite wares, ferrite powders for permanent magnets magnetic soft ferrite powders.
