The purpose of project is creation the complex of technological processes and equipment for final magnetic abrasive treatment of goods (MAT). Given complex can be used in metal-working, machine-building and metallurgical industries The complex is provided with such high-performance machining tool as composite magnetic abrasive powders (MAPs). MAPs have been created on the basis of superhard materials (diamonds, carbide of boron, nitride of boron, carbide of titanium) and magnetic soft materials (pure iron, alloys of iron with cobalt and nickel) As a result of project implementation the complex of technological processes and equipment will be developed as well as new MAT technology. Given MAT technology will be used for perspective and new on principle final treatment of steels, alloys, ceramics, stones and other materials Application of MAT technology will allow to double and even to treble rate of productivity, stability and quality of wares. The terms for wide use of MAT will be created in Ukraine and in other interested countries. MAT is used for: polishing of surfaces with the purpose of decline (smoothing) of micro unevenness, removal of whiskers, preparation (fettling) of surfaces for operations of putting metallic, varnish-and-paint, polymeric and other types of coverages; polishing of details' surfaces with the purpose to rise their corrosion resistance, resistance to wear and resistance to mechanical loading; decorative polishing.
